Air Hygiene is proud to announce
its capability to test for hydrocarbons with our emission
testing vans. This benefits anyone required to monitor for hydrocarbons.
EPA and state agencies use various acronyms in air permits for hydrocarbons
depending upon the source and regulation. Common references include
total hydrocarbons (THC); total non-methane hydrocarbons (TNMHC);
total non-methane, ethane hydrocarbons (TNMHC); volatile organic
compounds (VOC); or unburned hydrocarbons (UHC). Not only is this
a tool to monitor emission levels, but it also is an indicator of
engine performance in regards to complete combustion of the gas
being used by the source.
Go to the emission
testing vans page for more information.
