BVZ Power Partners a well known engineering, design, and construction
group received the 2004 Marvin M. Black Excellence in Partnering
award for the Brazos Valley Power Project. Air
Hygiene has been recognized as a key vendor by BVZ in
providing the air emission testing services for the Brazos Valley
Power Project.
Air Hygiene conducted performance
and compliance testing for the power plant measuring nitrogen oxides
(NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOC), sulfur
dioxide (SO2), particulates less than 10 microns (PM-10), and ammonia
(NH3) from the combined cycle 2 x 1 power plant. Testing was performed
at multiple loads and on-site emissions data were used to assist
with optimizing the emissions control and equipment operation.
All testing was completed on time and within budget. Final reports
were delivered ahead of schedule and all data was accepted by the
owner and the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Air Hygiene project management
was performed by Paul R. Little the East Division Manager for Air
Hygiene. On-site testing personnel included the following
key personnel:
Paul R. Little, Project Manager
Quinn A. Bierman, President
R. Swanson Bierman, Vice President
Steven Speights, Testing Manager
Joby Odefey, Testing Manager
Justin Roush, Test Engineer
Tim Page, Sr. Technician
Dana Odefey, Staff Technician
Brad Lowe, Staff Technician
